The Bridge Center will be closed for painting on Feb 2-3. There will be no Mixed Master game Thursday night, no Stanley's game on Friday morning, and no game Friday night. Thanks for your patience.

We are starting to work on accumulating names for the 2012 Directory. Unit 109 publishes a new directory of bridge players in the unit on even years. Its purpose is to give you access to contact information for duplicate bridge players in the unit. You do NOT have to be a member to be in the directory. You do NOT have to be in Unit 109 to be in the directory. If you play in Unit 109, and you want people to be able to contact you, you should be in the directory. The directory will NOT be published online.

You will be receiving an email or a phone call in the next couple of months to verify your information. A list may be posted at your club for verification, too. We will do everything we can to get the right folks listed with the correct information. There are over 40 Unit 109 members who have volunteered to help out with phoning this year. If you want to be sure that your information is correct, you can contact Linda MacCleave. Send me your name, address, phone number, and email address.

The plan is to have these books available in May, so if your club needs books, contact Linda or Ed to let one of us know how many you need. Each member should get one book. To help pay for the printing, we sell ads to members who want to advertise their businesses. The ads are $100 for a whole page and $65 for a half page.
